Privacy Policy

This policy explains what CalcFacts collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: your calculator inputs never leave your browser, and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.

Information we do not collect

All calculations run as JavaScript in your browser. The numbers, dates, and text you enter into a calculator are processed locally and are never transmitted to our servers, logged, or stored. We have no database of calculator inputs, because we do not have anywhere to put them.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider processes standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and requested pages in order to serve the site and prevent abuse. If we use analytics, it is limited to aggregate page view, referrer, and general device and country information. We do not use advertising cookies for cross-site behavioural targeting without consent, and where consent is required we request it before setting non-essential cookies.

Advertising

We display ads from third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third party vendor cookie use at aboutads.info. We do not control the practices of these networks and they are not bound by our privacy policy.

Third-party links

Some guides and tools link to external websites. Once you follow an external link, that site has its own privacy practices which we do not control and are not responsible for.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we do not collect identifiable personal data through the calculators, there is generally nothing for us to disclose or delete. For questions, contact us and we will respond as required by applicable law.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or its partners change. The date at the top always reflects the most recent version, and material changes will be noted in the changelog.
